Group sound session
“Bathing” in the sounds of Tibetan bowls is a holistic sound therapy. Today, as the pace of life is accelerating and stress levels have become critical, the sound massage of singing bowls has become a wonderful, natural method of relaxation and healing.
The vibrations of the bowls are distributed throughout the body, 80% of which is in the form of a “bowl”. water (which is an excellent conductor of vibrations) increases our self-healing abilities and strengthens the body’s immunity. The result is a subtle internal massage of all the cells of the body.
Tibetan singing bowl massage is done through clothing. There is no physical contact between the therapist and the customer. During a session, after a holistic health assessment, Tibetan singing bowls are placed on different parts of the body while being chimed. Other bowls might also be used surrounding the body to create varying notes and vibrations. The singing bowls create a wide variety of harmonious and soothing sounds that touch certain vibrational frequencies in our body, mind, and emotions thereby inducing you into a state of meditation and restore your inner peace and tranquility. The vibrations help vital energy flow freely. Results can vary from a deep sense of relaxation, to relief from physical and/or emotional pain, a sensation of lightness as the body lets go of past emotional and physical issues.
Hot stone massage-therapy
It is one of the ancient Eastern medical methods that uses volcanic (basaltic) stones, which have the ability to retain heat for a long time and transfer it to the human body. The massage is performed with hand movements and hot stones, where stones heated to 50-60 degrees are placed on reflexogenic areas. This stimulates the energy centres of the body, which can help restore lost inner balance. The warmth of the essential oils and stones deeply relaxes the body’s muscles, relieves chronic back and neck pain, activates blood circulation and metabolism, improves sleep and work efficiency, and reduces emotional tension. The massage brings a state of harmony and tranquillity to the whole body, while at the same time offering a mysterious and mystical ritual.
The aim of the massage is to relax the body with the warmth of the stones and massage movements, to release the tensions that have accumulated deep inside the body, to create a state of harmony and peace, and to relieve emotional agitation. This massage is for those with frequent muscle tension, cold extremities, and arthritic pain.
Natural wax and boneset root hand therapy with head massage
The hands are massaged without oil and the palms with honey. Linen cloths are soaked in natural melted beeswax and wrapped around the palms. While the warm wax compresses heal the hands, the neck and head are massaged. After 20 minutes, the skin on your hands becomes “baby-like” – young, revitalised, supple and smooth. The treatment ends with a massage of bone grass root cream, which regenerates tissues, smoothes chapped, rough skin on the hands, and relaxes and soothes the finger joints.
Beeswax is rich in vitamin A and emollients, which are essential for skin epithelial renewal. Wax has anti-inflammatory properties and has been found to contain a substance similar to antibiotics. This makes it suitable for the treatment of skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and trophic ulcers. The anti-inflammatory effects of beeswax can relieve rheumatic and joint pain. Beeswax is a good moisturising ingredient for the skin. Its antioxidants scavenge free radicals and soften dry, rough and cracked skin.
This treatment can also be applied to feet, elbows, knees or other problem areas. The treatment is not suitable for people allergic to bee products.
